A LIGHT HAS GONE OUT FROM THE WORLD
A light has gone out from the world,
Leaving it a little dimmer,
and more than that, a little colder
For the loss of that warm loving one.
A light has gone out from the world
And the ones that loved it mourn
And feel the empty place that was left
By that warm loving one.
A light has gone out from the world
And those who knew it best
Are filled with grattitude for all he was
And the love he freely gave.
A light has gone out from the world
But he has left a legacy,
For the two little lights he helped create
Shine brighter for being loved by him.
a light has gone out from the world,
His place is now so empty,
But those who love him remember and smile
And comfort each other for his loss.
A light has gone out from the world
But he has gone to a better place
And he shines with all the other lights
Gathered round the throne of God.
